By accessing or using myJot ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

myJot is a privacy-focused note-taking application that allows you to:

Create and manage notes
Set reminders for tasks
Sync notes across devices using a Sync ID
Store notes with end-to-end encryption

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Keeping your Sync ID secure and confidential
All activity that occurs under your Sync ID
Backing up your Sync ID - we cannot recover it if lost
Using the Service in compliance with applicable laws

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Store or transmit illegal content
Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
Attempt to access other users' data
Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

5. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information.

6. Data and Encryption

Your notes are encrypted using your Sync ID. Important points:

We cannot decrypt or read your notes
If you lose your Sync ID, your data cannot be recovered
You are solely responsible for remembering your Sync ID

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties
We are not liable for any loss of data due to lost Sync IDs
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion if you violate these Terms or for any other reason.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
